and just like that it's fall

I may be jumping the gun a bit here, but I think fall may just be here to stay. And I couldn't be happier about it. Except for the mosquitoes that are carrying West Nile Virus that have found their way into my hometown. Stay away please, mosquitoes. I'll be having none of that, please and thank you.

What are your favorite fall traditions? I think my most favorite would be cider mills - the  pumpkins, gourds, cider, hay bails, donuts, all that. A cider mill pretty much encompasses all that is great about fall, in my opinion. Although, heavy wool sweaters, hot chocolate, and the possibility that I may just be able to pass off slippers as acceptable daily footwear in public also make fall pretty great.

  1. You nailed my favorite fall tradition--everything cider related! Apple cider, cider donuts--there's just something about the flavor that is so FALL to me. Past that, I love love love fairs--I'm from New England and they are definitely a mainstay in the fall!

  3. pumpkin picking and carving are definitely the best parts about halloween! i didn't get a chance to do that last year in Utah, so I'm excited to participate in all the fun and actually get all dressed up for the halloween holiday!
oh, and this may seem elementary, but i always look forward to watching Halloween Town and Hocus Pocus come Halloween ;)
